6 years ago today you were taken from us. I can't believe it's been that
long. Yet, I still bring up a story some how to somebody about you. Thought
of you the other day when a friend asked if I had seen the Temptations

Ty, don't know why it took me so long to stumble across this site. Thanks
for setting it up, Ray. But I'm glad I did. I think about you often
(every time I walk by your old house in our old neighborhood). I miss
you and miss the years we spent together growing up. You're the only
one who I went to school with from Kindergarten to college. I always
knew you were a great guy but I'll always remember the day I knew that
for sure...
We were probably 8 or 9 years old and I had been cornered
against a fence by a neighborhood bully (who shall remain nameless here)
and thought I was about to get the beating of a lifetime. From out of
nowhere you appeared and delivered your own beating to this bully. You
rescued me and became an instant hero in my eyes!
I feel truly honored
and blessed to have known you and grown up together. I will always miss
you very much and of course, will never forget your cheery smile!
